Center for Theatre is back!
4800 Central SE

The Center for Theatre is back again and better than ever!  Children and adults alike will enjoy the Center For Theatre's magical tour of the Hiland complex which features an introduction to all things theatrical: the stage, lights, sound, costumes, props, and make-up. These tours include a hands-on museum exhibit (the hidden treasure inside the Hiland), a complete tour of the theater, several role-playing opportunities, and an interactive theatre experience onstage! Tours are free to public school groups within Albuquerque city limits (through a grant from the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund), are $4.00 per person for others, and are by appointment only.

In the coming months, they will be offering several theatre-related workshops and special events (like October's "Wicked Witch's Haunted Castle") so keep checking their site for regular updates. Center for the Book to return in Fall, 2004
